On Monday, 31st July, 2023, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Jaman North District Assembly, some  executive members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) , Assembly Members, Staff of the Assembly presented Two Thousand and Sixty One (2,061) Mathematical sets to the District Education Directorate for onward distribution to the 2023 BECE candidates in the district.

The presentation of the Mathematical sets is in line with the vision of H.E. the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to provide quality education for all Ghanaian children. The President has made it a priority to improve access to education in Ghana, and this gesture by the DCE is a step in the right direction.

The Mathematical sets will help to ease the financial burden on parents, as they will no longer have to purchase them for their children. This is especially important for parents who are already struggling to make ends meet.

The Mathematical sets will also help candidates to write the exams with ease, as they will have the necessary tools to do so. This will give all candidates an equal chance of success, regardless of their financial background

The education director thanked the Assembly for the donation. He said with confidence that the Mathematical sets would help candidates to achieve their full potential in this year’s BECE exams.

The presentation of the Mathematical sets is a welcome gesture by the DCE, and it will go a long way in helping BECE candidates to succeed in their exams. This is a positive step towards providing quality education for all Ghanaian children, and it is in line with the vision of H.E. the President of Ghana.
