The Jaman North District Assembly has organised a training workshop for its various units and departments on the new interface of the District Development Data Platform (DDDP). The exercise, a down-training, was aimed at helping staff acquaint themselves with the platform and use it effectively in their work.

The DDDP is a web-based data capturing, monitoring and evaluation platform designed to improve database management and reporting at the local level, as well as track district performance in service delivery. Every assessment by Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) is now conducted using the DDDP.

According to the Assembly, the training was necessary to equip staff to submit the required data on time in order to pass any assessment. Participants were taken through the new interface and its role in data entry, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

The workshop forms part of efforts by the Jaman North District Assembly to strengthen staff capacity, improve data management and enhance reporting performance at the local level.

At the end of the exercise, staff were expected to apply the knowledge gained to ensure accurate and timely data submission on the platform.
