District Chief Executive Embarks on Departmental Visit Across Jaman North

On Wednesday, 21st August 2025, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Jaman North, Hon. Adane George, embarked on a departmental visit across the District. The visit formed part of his commitment to strengthening collaboration between the Office of the District Chief Executive and various government departments operating within the District.

The tour commenced at the District Education Directorate and proceeded to other institutions, including the Ghana National Fire Service, National Ambulance Service, District Health Directorate, National Identification Authority, District Police Quarters, GPRTU Office, Ghana Immigration Service, Customs Division, and several others.
The purpose of the visit was to enable the DCE to familiarize himself with the operations of the various departments, understand their challenges, and explore how best his office can support them. Hon. Adane George emphasized that, as the President’s representative in the District, it was important for him to have first-hand knowledge of the constraints facing departments in order to bridge the gap between them and the Assembly.

During the interactions, the various departments commended the initiative of the DCE and pledged their unwavering support towards his vision of bringing development to the District. They expressed optimism that his proactive engagement would help strengthen inter-agency collaboration and ensure improved service delivery for the benefit of the people of Jaman North.
The DCE was accompanied on the tour by the District Coordinating Director and other key unit heads of the Assembly.

The tour was described as very successful and engaging, marking an important step in fostering stronger partnerships between the District Assembly and its key stakeholders.
